Analysis of a New Twin Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicle

The twin hybrid autonomous underwater vehicle (THAUV) is a novel type of unmanned platform that consists torpedo-shaped hull and actuated by two buoyancy engines thrusters proposed in this paper. THAUV was designed to have faster speed generated the thrusters. on each airfoil are mainly responsible for diving surfacing motion, drive along horizontal plane. capable carrying more instrumentation energy than conventional (HAUV) with single engine such can perform exploration tasks operate longer period one-time operation. Different from other vehicles (UUVs) airfoils or wings, has connecting it does not require bars additional airfoils. For reason, structure compact simpler.
